Reception Details can make a difference

Your wedding may be fast approaching, that makes it time to think about all the extra details.
I have talked about details making a big difference in past entry's. Since your options are unlimited here are some new ideas.
Table Setting Ideas -
* Instead of individual menus for each guest try a menu for the center of the table. It can be very decorative and save on costs. If you are having arranged seating add the table number on the menu. It is one less piece to worry about.
* Turn your Favor boxes into a Place card setting for you guest arranged seating.
* Create conversation at your guest tables. Put a trivia question on the outside of your favor box and the answer inside. To make it even more creative make it a question about the bride and groom. (example: Where was the couples first date?)
*It is very popular to name your tables for your arranged seating. We still suggest to place a table number on the card, however it is fun to name tables after meaningful locations with a bit of history, facts or trivia.
*You do not want to give your guest a favor box full of candy, yet give them something practical, and unique, visit our website to view our Kate Aspen Line of favors. http://www.theguestlistinvitations.com/
Have a fun time planning you important details. We look forward to working with you.

Many Ceremony Program Options

Ceremony Programs from Simple to Creative

You told your friends and family when your wedding is by sending a save the date, then you invited them with an unforgettable invitation. They arrived at your ceremony and now you want them to follow along, so you hand them a Ceremony Program.

The Ceremony Program helps guide your guests through every step of the marriage, lets them feel included, and they introduce your bridal party .

Wedding programs can look however you want. They can be a simple pamphlet or they can be creative like a fan !
You ask yourself . . .
What information do I need on my program?
First you want your, ceremony order and who is in the wedding.
Things you can add to personalize you program is, a special Thank you to all your guests, parents and attendants. Memorials, so that close friends or family who have passed are remembered on that day.

Even more extra important pieces to add are:
  • A Short sentence about your attendants on why they are important to you.
  • How you met each other.
  • Where you are going on your honeymoon.
  • A poem or a special bible verse.
  • An explanation of traditions or rituals used in your ceremony.
  • A request for audience participation in certain parts of the ceremony (e.g. affirmation of the marriage, communion, singing)

No matter how simple of a program you select or what questions you may have our team at The Guest List, will help you with your programs every step of the way.

Brides Choice Award

WeddingWire, the nation's leading technology company, just announced that The Guest List has won the
2009 Bride's Choice Awards™!

In its inaugural year, the Bride's Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors form the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. This year's recipients represents the top three percent of WeddingWire's vendor community,  which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US. That means The Guest List is one of the very best Invitations and Favors.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride's Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews.

"We are excited to launch this this annual award to honor high-performing  vendors based solely on the experiences of  our WeddingWire community." according to Timothy Chi, WeddingWire Chief Executive Officer. "This year's recipients set the bar high, exhibiting excellent service and expertise in the wedding industry."

The Guest List would like to thank our past clients for speaking on our behalf and helping us win the 2009 Bride's Choice Award!

From the team at the Guest List, Thank you for a great 2008.
